Triple Bunk Beds Pros and Cons

Posted on 12th November 2010 in Home & Garden

If you are one of the many who has the problem of having limited space in your home, getting furniture that fits may be a problem. You might often find yourself getting a piece only to find out that it can’t fit your doorway.  Beds are by far one of the bulkiest pieces of furniture you can find. This being so, fitting t more than one into your kids’ room may be near impossible. Triple bunk beds solve this problem regarding space.

One of the advantages with these bunk beds is their convenience.  Most are designed to be easily dismantled and reconstructed so you don’t have to worry about your bed not being able to fit into your room.  This quality also allows you to use them as three separate beds if you wish.

Second, the beds are practical. If you have young children, you really don’t need to give each a room of their own. Keeping them in a single room is the easiest way to keep an eye on them. Despite your limited space, the triple bunks allow you to do just that.

Third, they are versatile. The loft beds for example can come with drawers, tables and the like included in their design. This would save you a lot on purchasing more furniture and will maximize your space.

The thing many don’t like about the beds is the fact that they are high above the ground. This is especially true with the standardized style which is designed to stack all three beds on top of each other.  Parents who are obviously concerned about safety may find them dangerous.

If you don’t have really small kids or simply want extra beds for your guest room, triple bunk beds are definitely something to consider. They are affordable and do the job well.
